Darlington Business Venture is the local Enterprise Agency for the Darlington borough. Founded in 1984 it is a not for profit company limited by guarantee and is licensed by the Department of Trade and Industry.

A wide variety of business support services are provided by the company throughout the borough of Darlington and the wider Tees Valley sub- region. A number of partnerships, joint ventures and working agreements are in place between Darlington Business Venture and organisations at local, regional and national levels.
